REVIEW: MATRIX BIOLAGE COLOR CARE THERAPIE & HYDRA THERAPIE + GIVEAWAY!

The Color Care Therapie range from Matrix is inspired by the luxurious Orchid flower that never fades. It is especially formulated to preserve the vibrancy of color-treated hair as it contains Orchid Extract and +UV Complex; not only to maintain but also help enrich the hair color through continuous use.
The shampoo is light and runny. It is able to totally cleanse the scalp without feeling dry. The shampoo alone isn't enough, though. The hair is a bit rough after so the use of the conditioner is a must. The conditioner does an awesome job in detangling the hair and in locking in moisture! Both the shampoo and conditioner from this line have low pH content to help prolong color vibrancy. Also, their formula is paraben-free formula which makes it perfect for color-treated hair. I love how the hair masque leaves my hair visibly shiny and as soft as Orchid Petals every after use. This'll be our little secret but instead of using the hair masque once a week, I use it every other day. I'm so addicted to it! Haha. <3
Of all the Biolage variants, I like the scent of the Color Care Therapie the most. The subtle floral scent is light but it actually stays on the hair for a long time. It smells fresh, clean and very very girly. :)
I just love how it helps maintain the color depth and tone of my color-treated hair. Compared to other hair care products I've tried before, Matrix Biolage Color Care Therapie does a better in keeping my hair color vibrant while still making it shiny, soft and manageable.
"Quench dry, thirsty hair with state-of-the-art formulas inspired by nature that mimic the moisture retaining properties of the Aloe Plant. Hair’s hydration levels are optimized through the absorption and retention of these moisturizing hair care products."

It is inevitable for my hair to become dry because of all the rebonding and hair coloring. And with dryness comes proneness to breakage and frizziness.. so much so that it actually led to severe hair fall. For which I usedBiolage Fiber Strong, by the way. :) If Fiber Strong is inspired by bamboo, Biolage Ultra-Hydra Source Therapie is inspired by the plant that doesn't seem to dry up – the aloe vera plant. It helps optimize moisture balance for healthy looking hair.
The shampoo, formulated with aloe, cupuacu butter and apricot kernel oil, gently cleanses hair leaving it extremely moisturized. Unlike the Biolage Color Care Therapie Shampoo, the shampoo from the Hydra range can stand alone. I still prefer using it with the conditioner, though. The conditioner and the hair masque are specifically designed for very dry hair as they help optimize moisture balance by intensely conditioning the hair to make it look healthy.

This, for me, is the holy grail amongst all the Biolage hair care lines. No matter how healthy or damaged, virgin or chemically-treated your hair is, YOU NEED THIS! I seriously can't get enough of this. It deeply hydrates and nourishes the hair making it soft, shiny and undeniably more manageable than with the use of other products. I love how it leaves my hair feeling silky, lustrous and healthy-looking even with just one use. This is by far my favorite and I wouldn't mind shelling out a couple more bucks for this. <3

PINK CHRISTMAS FROM VITRESS + GIVEAWAY!

LINK TO GIVEAWAY: http://www.cellinereyes.com/2014/12/pink-christmas-from-vitress-giveaway.html

I've been receiving early Christmas gifts since last week. Gifts are fun – who doesn't like gifts, anyway?! – but what I love most about receiving gifts from people I've known through my blog is the fact that they actually remembered me and that they support my blog. You get to meet a lot of people online and in events.. but you can't possibly remember, let alone keep in touch with, everybody.

As I was saying, last week I received this package from the marketing people behind Vitress, Ms. Marcie Linao and Ms. Nicole Romero, both of which I've personally met during events. The package was quite heavy. The heavier package = the giddier I get. HAHA!
I got all the Vitress variants, a pretty metallic makeup pouch and a pink-and-black hairdryer that is "so Vitress". I love the color combination! And oh, there was also another gift in a small black box. I was so touched by the gesture that I immediately thought of sharing it with my readers. Plus, I already have a couple of Vitress bottles from my previous BDJ Box. I think I have more than enough to go around. :)

Also, my birthday is just around the corner so instead of asking for more birthday gifts, I'd rather be the one giving out gifts this time around. How's that sound? Just a small gesture to show my readers that I, too, appreciate your support. *hearts everywhere!* <3
GIVEAWAY TIME!
One (1) lucky winner will win this VITRESS GIFT PACK plus A SPECIAL GIFT FROM ME! Clue: It has nothing to so with hair.. it's mostly makeup products. :) I'm sure you'll love it! I'll show you the possible prizes next week. <3

This giveaway will be open for 2 weeks starting today. It will end on December 19, and the announcement of winner will be on this same post. This is open to those with Philippine address which means that even if you're in a different country but you know someone here, I can send it to their address. <3 That's about it. Good luck and I'll see you on my next post. :)
