Urban Apparel is a quirky urban clothing shop that recently opened in Alabang Town Center. It carries five of the fashion world's most fun-loving brands to Metro Manila.
The first is Tokyo Laundry, a UK-based brand that puts an emphasis on bringing a fashionable edge to casual clothing. Tokyo Laundry is also represented in Urban Apparel by their guest brand, Dissident, whose clean, industrial lines and militaristic cuts complement Tokyo Laundry's more relaxed style.
Tally Weijl is a Switzerland-based company which has been designing their take on urban casual since 1984, and has maintained a strong presence on the global fashion stage. Along with graphic tops and bottoms, Tally Weijl also has shoes, bags, and other accessories lining Urban Apparel's walls.
Paris' Fresh Brand is a relative newcomer in menswear. Their tops range from eclectic graphic tees to slightly toned down ones, giving customers an option to suit each mood.
Urban Apparel also carries products from Kikkerland, a creative design studio with cheeky, inventive items for every personality. Check out these coin purses that look like coffee cups.
As I went through the store, here are my favorite picks. I love these quirky pairs of sunglasses.
I also love this Tally Weijl Rolling Stones sweatshirt (P1,499.75/$34) and paired it with a leather skirt from the same brand (P1,499.75/$34). In case you're wondering, my heart flats aren't from the store. I got them in the US and they're from a brand called Melissa.
